99 Heads are better than 1

That's right. 99 heads. I have a dear friend who is a Waldorf doll maker and I make heads for her. She makes her own sometimes and she does a beautiful job. It is just her least favorite part of doll making. I really like making the heads so that's where I come in. These heads are for dolls that are 6", 8" and 10" tall. The doll maker I'm speaking of is not on my doll maker list in the right hand column. I'm off to make heads for 12" dolls now.

Wow, just looking at them makes me dizzy! How long did that take you to make??

These heads took about 12 hours total. The small ones go pretty quickly as they only have an eye line string and no chin line string.

Waaaaaaaaaaah! Can I hire you? Pretty pretty please?? :) Making heads is definitely my least favourite part...

Heh. Job very well done, Berrie!

You can hire me Meike but the shipping charges may be a problem. Just tell yourself, "I love making doll heads, I love making doll heads..." eventually you may enjoy it. Make 10 heads and have them ready for bodies. It will seem like the doll makes up very quickly.

Wow Berrie! What a job!
I sure wish those heads were laying in my sewing corner right now.... :0)
I have quiet a few heads done myself, but not 99.

Holy cow! right? that's a lot of heads. Kind of reminds me of canning jam....you just have to do it all at once....now you have lots to use!

Ha! I just saw this this morning after posting John's head making flurry. There must have been something in the air this week for head making! Lol, that pic makes me laugh :) In our dream studio, we'll have JOhn make them all!
