A first for me

One dozen long stemmed red roses. This wonderful, amazing man in my life has given me another "first". I had never received flowers like these before today. I am so touched by Dwayne's thoughtfulness and generosity.

I say "another first" because for my birthday this past July Dwayne surprised me with a gold bracelet and a ruby necklace. He is the first man to buy jewelry for me as well. I know that I have found a gem in him.

In the six months we have been dating we have grown so close. He loves my girls and they love him. He is intelligent, funny, wise beyond my comprehension, generous, compassionate and perspicacious (that's right...look it up). He gets me. He gets my humor. I love him. He loves me. Nice.
